Current Initiatives
Sharing Aloha This Holiday Season
This year, JL Capital and our Muse Honolulu and Renaissance Honolulu Hotel and Spa teams joined Helping Hands Hawai‘i’s Adopt a Family program for the first time, coming together to support three local families in need. As we reviewed their wish lists, we were reminded that many of the items requested are everyday essentials – things like toiletries, pantry staples and blankets – that many of us take for granted. The experience was humbling and heartwarming, uniting our team in the true spirit of giving.
Supporting Hawai‘i Foodbank Flood Relief Efforts
JL Capital supported Hawai‘i Foodbank with a $10,000 donation and hands-on volunteer service following recent Kona Low flooding on O‘ahu. Team members spent time at the Foodbank’s warehouse sorting approximately 3,000 pounds of fresh produce, helping strengthen food distribution efforts across the island. The contribution reflects JL Capital’s commitment to supporting local families and responding to community needs in meaningful ways.
Hands-On Service in Waimānalo
JL Capital team members recently volunteered alongside Habitat for Humanity in Waimānalo, addressing the unique affordable housing shortage that local families face. Working shoulder to shoulder with community partners, the experience reflects our commitment to giving back in meaningful, hands-on ways that strengthen Hawai‘i’s communities.
