Mission
Formed in 2017, JL Capital is a real estate and private equity firm committed to Hawai’i’s future by investing in and developing sustainable urban communities that provide new jobs, new housing and build strong economic assets for the community.
Investments
JL Capital and its related companies currently own and manage 12 properties for adaptive reuse and potential redevelopment along the Kapiolani Corridor. Over the next 10 to 20 years, JL Capital plans to build between 1,800-2,000 housing units, consisting of residential, hospitality, and mixed-use commercial space, supporting its vision for organic growth of a work-play-live neighborhood.
SKY ALA MOANA
JL Capital is the majority owner and developer of Sky Ala Moana, a two-tower defining development project for the area, consisting of 474 residential units, which include 84 affordable for-sale residences; a 300-room hotel; commercial spaces; and an approximately 53,900 square-foot amenity deck designed for modern island living.
